Now, this sounds pretty cool - sorta.

Masi Oka of NBC's Heroes fame, is launching a new time travel sci-fi series, "The Correctors," on the SYFY Channel.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "The Corrector" sees two "Exceptions Bureau" agents that travel to parallel universes, inhabiting their "parallel" bodies and putting right what once went wrong - or will go wrong -- or something.

Actually, HR states:

"The Correctors follows two agents of the Exceptions Bureau who are dispatched to a parallel universe where they inhabit the bodies of their identical selves in order to stop events from occurring."

Seems details are a little scarce - as why would they even care what happens in a different universe? Unless of course, that parallel universe somehow effects their own? Or the results give them info on their own?

Oka and Alex Sabeti (Art of Cool) came up with the story. Sabeti is writing the script with Oka on as executive producer and possibly starring.

Oka was great in Heroes as time hopper/stopper Hiro Nakamura so this might just work!

I hope it does. Big fan of Quantum Leap-esque stories, here.
