Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Gets Amy Acker As Coulson's Love Interest
Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has cast Amy Acker as Coulson's love interest, Audrey.
The character has actually already been referenced a couple of times including in The Avengers movie with mention she is the love of Coulson's life and most recently in an episode of S.H.I.E.L.D. when Raina tortured Coulson telling him his former lover had cried for days following his death.
TV Guide describes Amy Acker's character as a cellist living in Portland that believes Coulson to be dead and has no idea that he's guarding her from a distance as a super-powered threat re-emerges from her past.
Amy Acker shared the screen with Clark Gregg in Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing adaptation, can currently be seen in Persons of Interest, and had roles in Whedon's Cabin In The Woods, Angel and Dollhouse.
Amy Acker will appear in the April 22nd episode Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. airing Tuesdays at 8pm ET on ABC.
