We now have confirmation on the previously released Marvel NOW! teaser that Matt Fraction, Mark Bagley and Mike Allred are on the new Fantastic Four as well as the new FF.
Bagley will be joining Fraction on Fantastic Four, with Allred on FF.
Fraction's Fantastic Four is being described by USA Today as "a journey through time and space."
Per the cover of FF, we see an all-new team consisting of Ant-Man (Scott Lang), She-Hulk, Medusa and Miss Thing, described an "all-new female character clad in a Thing suit of armor."
Fantastic Four sees Reed Richard build a ship that will take his team and children across time and space for an "epic historical lesson" that lasts a year, but only four minutes in regular Earth time. There will be continuing plot threads and each issue will feature a new adventure and situation.
FF sees the team handpicked by the original Fantastic Four members, and with the originals seemingly replaced, FF villains of old come out of the woodwork to challenge the new team.
"It's very easy to say, 'I want to stay true to what Stan and Jack did.' Well, what Stan and Jack did was invent the entirety of the Marvel Universe in 104 issues," Fraction told USA Today. "If this could be the Pixar version of the Fantastic Four, something that everyone can enjoy, not just our medium 30-year-old white-dude reader, I'd be happy."
Both issues hit in November.
