Samuel L. Jackson wants to be in the next Star Wars movie so bad that at George Lucas' wedding he told J.J. Abrams as much.
Now, we get an update on not only Jackson's potential involvement but Ewan McGregor and Mark Hamill's as well.
Samuel L. Jackson recently appeared on The David Letterman Show where he let it be known that none of them have heard from J.J. Abrams about Star Wars.
While that may not really be a surprise in regards to Samuel L. Jackson and Ewan McGregor, it is for Mark Hamill.
Samuel L. Jackson told Dave that he was on a recent movie set with Hamill and asked him about Star Wars and if he heard from Abrams to which Hamill replied he had not. Jackson then said he was recently on the phone with McGregor who said the same.
It's been rumored for a while that Star Wars: Episode VII will feature returning original cast members Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. Ford has been mum on the subject, so perhaps Mark Hamill is as well. It could also be that Hamill's role isn't that big or he just really hasn't heard from Abrams yet as production hasn't started.
