David Goyer, writer on the Man of Steel as well as The Dark Knight Rises, will return to writing comic books as he will pen a 13-issue event with DC Comics chief creative officer and writer Geoff Johns.
"DC is holding the space for it." Goyer told CBR. "It's an event we're going to do, it's a 13-issue thing. Hopefully we'll start plotting it out this fall."
David Goyer and Geoff Johns previously wrote issues of JLA for almost 50 issues, and Goyer was also responsible for the controversial Superman story in Action Comics #900 that saw Superman renounce his U.S. citizenship.
David Goyer co-wrote the screenplays for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises as well as the Man of Steel.
