[[wysiwyg_imageupload:7635:]]There's been debate amongst the fans about Christopher Nolan's involvement in the upcoming DC shared movie universe as well as with the Man of Steel.
While rumors seems to suggest against Christopher Nolan having much - if anything - to do with Justice League and beyond, we do hear from new Superman Henry Cavill how much the Batman director was involved with filming the Man of Steel.
And as we have heard previously, he didn't.
Nolan has made it no secret that Man of Steel is all Zack Snyder's, and now Henry Cavill says more of the same.
Via F*** Magazine (via ScreenRant):
Chris Nolan wasn’t there during the production itself, although I’m not sure how much work was done behind the scenes. I’m sure Zack had a phone call or two with him, but this is definitely Zack’s baby. He was the man in charge, and we created the character together, as opposed to having too many outside influences.”
It’s a collaborative process and Zack wants us to talk to him about stuff and work with him on his ideas. If you say, ‘how about I do this,’ he’ll say ‘I don’t know if I like it yet, but give it a shot.
Regarding Nolan's involvement behind the scenes, we at least know he was involved with the story as writer David Goyer did bounce ideas off of Nolan while planning The Dark Knight Rises.
While Goyer and Snyder appear to be on board the DC movies, Christopher Nolan will be involved in his own big budget science-fiction movie with Interstellar, which is set to star Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine.
Man of Steel opens June 14th in IMAX 3D also starring Michael Shannon as Zod.
