The SupermanHomePage received the following from one of their readers:
Word is that a slightly shortened 3D version of the "Man of Steel" trailer is being shown before IMAX 3D showings of "Jurassic Park", with the title cards, "Next Summer", "From Zack Snyder", "And Christopher Nolan" altered to include a faint starfield in the background to make the words leap off the screen. Also the "Man of Steel" title card now fades into the new "S" shield at the end of the trailer.
A notation at the end of the trailer says, "Experience it in Real 3D and in IMAX 3D".
"The film is going to be a visually exciting experience in all formats: 2D, 3D and IMAX," director Zack Snyder said in a previously released statement. "Anticipating how audiences today embrace 3D, we designed and photographed the movie in a way that would allow Man of Steel to captivate those movie goers, while respecting fans who prefer a more traditional cinematic experience. We've taken great measures to ensure the film and the story come first, and 3D is meant as an enhancement."
Man of Steel opens June 14th in IMAX 3D directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Michael Shannon as Zod.
