If you are a fan of the SyFy channel you know that the direction they seemed to be heading is deeper into the paranormal.
With shows like The Haunted Collector to Ghost Hunters to School Spirits, things that go bump in the night seem to be an obvious hit.
Now M. Night Shyamalan will be bringing his own paranormal-type series to SyFy with Proof (via THR).
While not reality based, the series does focus on the supernatural as the premise sees a billionaire, who lost his parents in an accident, offer a large reward to anyone that can prove life after death.
Proof is written by M. Night Shyamalan, who will also direct, along with Buffy The Vampire Hunter's Marti Noxon, with both serving as executive producers.
SyFy recently canceled the likes of Sanctuary and Eureka, while having green lit new seasons for Total Blackout and Lost Girl.
M. Night Shyamalan also has a feature film coming out June 7th, 2013 starring Will and Jaden Smith, Sony's After Earth.
SyFy viewers should also recall that back in 2009 M. Night Shyamalan's "The Buried Secret of M. Night Shyamalan" aired that was a marketing gimmick for The Village.
