With Jason Momoa rumored as Aquman for Batman Vs. Superman and Justice League, Zack Snyder is said to have called in to a local Detroit radio show defending the DC Comics character.
Apparently, Detroit's 97.1 was making fun of Aquaman when the radio station received a phone call from a Los Angeles area code.
The caller then stated he is Zack Snyder and went on to say the following (via Detroit CBS Local):
Hey, it’s Zack, yeah. … Yeah, yeah I’m on my way to the set right now and I was listening to you guys on the radio.
Snyder continues with mention that calling in doesn't mean Aquman is in Batman Vs. Superman and offers the following:
[Aquaman can] cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact … he’s super strong … It’s not to say that he’s in the movie or anything like that but … he has the potential to be bad ass.”
Listen to the full clip for yourself (may need time to load), and Batman Vs. Superman cinematographer Larry Fong looks to have confirmed it is Zack Snyder.
