Leinel Francis Yu recently moved off Mark Waid's Hulk after only a handful of issues, and now we see that he has moved on to Avengers.
Yu will be drawing the Avengers "Infinity" issue(s) with Marvel providing an early look at #18 where we see the Skrulls.
I guess following their decimation during Annihilation, the Skrulls are back in full force, and they are looking to squabble with the Kree.
Over at his weekly column at CBR, Marvel EIC Axel Alonso continues to try and get fans to buy Zeb Well's Nova and Bendis/Gaiman's Guardians of the Galaxy as he thinks the back issues will be a hot commodity, and that everyone is buying them (even though Nova #2 almost lost 50% of sales from the first issue, with Loeb and McGuinness bailing).
Anyone who is not reading “Guardians of the Galaxy” or “Nova” -- and judging from sales, a lot of fans are -- will be searching for back issues or trades when “Infinity” is underway.
I know back issues of DnA's Guardians of the Galaxy have been hot on eBay as James Gunn's movie is based on their work, and they are really hard to find, too.
And then there is this:
The first line of defense for this is Tom [Brevoort], who always stands at the epicenter of our big events.
Wasn't Brevoort behind Fear Itself?
