Karen Gillan once again offers updates on her character in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie as she plays the villain, Nebula.
While promoting her latest film, Another Happy Ending, she offers up that Nebula will have bionic limbs, as well as sporting an American accent.
"Karen Gillan says her Guardians of the Galaxy villain is a bald sadist with bionic limbs and an American accent," reports the RedCarpetNewsTV Twitter.
Gillan also spoke with Yahoo where the actress let it be known she went through at least three auditions for the role. She says she was told before auditioning that if she got the part she would need to shave her red locks. She really didn't think she would get the part, and when she did, didn't have a problem cutting off her hair, of which Marvel gave her a wig of her real hair to wear. Then she unveiled it at Comic-Con to the shock and awe of her fans, some of which ended up blaming director James Gunn for the new do.
"The one I played was so strong and evil and sadistic and amazing. I can't give too much away, but she's pretty creepy," Gillan said in the following interview.
With mention that Nebula will have bionic implants, it remains to be seen if James Gunn will include Doctor Mandibus and Geatar who had a hand in Nebula's transformation.
