Justin Timberlake stars alongside new Batman, Ben Affleck, in this October's Runner, Runner.
While making the rounds at a radio station the actor makes it known that he is not interested in playing a sidekick or even a superhero, but wouldn't mind playing a super villain.
Timberlake tells the Fresh 102.7 studios when asked about Robin: "Not a chance in hell. I ain’t playin’ Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie. Now VILLAIN! I’ll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funny enough, is the Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain.
“I’m ready. The Riddler. Gimme a call. The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I’m gonna play crazy, I’m wanna play proper crazy," Timberlake said.
Justin Timberlake also went on to say that he likes Ben Affleck as Batman, that Ben is a brilliant actor, and that he thinks Affleck will surprise a lot of people.
Runner, Runner hits October 4th.
The sequel to "Man of Steel" goes into production next year for a July 17, 2015 release also starring Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
