[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5862:]]Big spoilerific news or rumor hit the net not too long ago that said the Marvel Studios Phase 3 plans heavily centered on Mark Ruffalo and the Hulk.

It was said that possibly in The Avengers 2 the movie would follow the comic book path with the Assemblers betraying Banner by sending him to space, setting up a "Planet Hulk" movie which would subsequently set up a "World War Hulk" movie in "The Avengers 3."

However, while making the rounds about his latest movie, Much Ado About Nothing, The Avengers 2 director and Marvel Studios consultant, Joss Whedon, spoke about the difficulties filming the Hulk and even that he knows nothing about further Incredible movies down the line; however, Whedon does say it would be possible.

GeekChocolate asks Whedon if it would be possible to film a good Hulk movie with Whedon's response as follows:

Yes. But it would be very, very hard. Hulk is a tricky son of a bitch. He’s the Claudio of superheroes. Because the problem is it’s a very popular character, but it’s not a superhero. Half of it’s a superhero, half of it’s a werewolf. And you can’t structure it like a superhero movie, you can’t light it like a superhero movie. How do you develop that? It would be extremely difficult. The one thing you would have in your favour would be Mark Ruffalo. But right now I don’t know if they have plans to do that or not, because he works so well as part of a greater whole, but by himself, it’s tough. I don’t envy the guys who went before.

Regarding the rumor, we really didn't expect Whedon to confirm it, so there is that, but at least he thinks it could be done.

It's also quite possible that the Hulk will be in his S.H.I.E.L.D TV series as well.

Joss Whedon also recently mentioned "Death, death, death" in The Avengers 2 and compared Hawkeye to a character in Much Ado About Nothing.

The Avengers 2 assembles May 1, 2015 with Iron Man 3 on May 3, 2013, Thor: The Dark World on November 8, 2013, Captain America: Winter Soldier on April 4, 2014, the Guardians of the Galaxy movie on August 1, 2014 and Ant-Man on November 6, 2015..
