[[wysiwyg_imageupload:2617:]]While Christopher Nolan would not be attached to a fourth Batman movie post The Dark Knight Rises, what about Joseph Gordon-Levitt?
As we saw at the end of The Dark Knight Rises, not only was Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character, John Blake, actually to have been revealed to have the first name of Robin, but "Robin" discovers the Batcave and a Batsuit.
Well, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been making the press rounds as of late discussing the possibility.
The actor recently appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, where he spoke about his character and The Dark Knight Rises, but also when asked by THR about doing a fourth Batman movie, Joseph Gordon-Levitt didn't exactly rule it out.
"I always choose scripts the same way. If it’s a great script and a great filmmaker, then I’m interested," he said.
Now the question is, would Warner Bros. go this route and then end up using JGL in the Justice League Movie?
Or would they green light a stand alone "Nightwing" movie, set within the Nolan-universe, and reboot a new Batman as we've been told?
The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Cain as Alfred, Juno Temple and Josh Pence as a young Ra's al Ghul.
