Jesse Eisenberg Confirms Lex Luthor For Justice League
Eisenberg appeared at this weekend's MCM London Comic-Con and confirmed the news (via Digital Spy).
"I'm kind of in wait," he said. "They just started filming Justice League, so I'm kind of like waiting for my crack at it.
"I don't know what I'm allowed to say, because I feel like there's probably some drone following me from DC, and if I say anything wrong I get, you know, picked off. But yeah I think so, and I love it, and I love everybody who's in it. You know, it's a really talented group of people."
Last we saw of Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, he was a babbling idiot in jail, which saw Batman pay a visit. Audiences seemed so confused by the scene that Warner Bros. actually released a deleted scene days after Batman Vs. Superman premiered in order to help explain what was going on.
"Justice League" has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe in an unknown role.
