We get an update from James Spader, who will be playing The Avengers 2 villain with Ultron.

Spader lets it be known while promoting his new series The Blacklist (10pm ET Mondays on NBC) that he went in for scans and images for Ultron as well as spoke to director Joss Whedon (via Inquirer).

I have spoken to Joss Whedon about it. And yes, actually, just this weekend I went in for them to take very extensive photographs, head scans, body scans, and all kinds of things in preparation for figuring out how the hell I’m gonna fit in this Ultron character!

We see from Spader's statements that he apparently just won't be voicing Ultron, but the villainous robot will be created with CGI to at least resemble the actor in some form.

Marvel recently released a look at the The Avengers 2 Ultron Comic-Con teaser, which you can check out below.

The Avengers: Age Of Ultron has a May 1, 2015 release starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth.
