Add yet another rumored movie for rising star Henry Cavill, who will don the cape for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel come June, as the new Superman is said to be a contender for WB's Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Presently, the Guy Ritchie-helmed Man From U.N.C.L.E. only has the one time Batman attached, Armie Hammer.
Tom Cruise was most recently up for a lead role but bailed on the project; it's now said that Henry Cavill is in contention.
It's also said Cavill was at one time up for Hammer's part as well.
Variety says that Cavill's schedule is "wide open having not set up his next film," but we are not sure if that is indeed the case as Henry signed on for a three-picture deal with Man of Steel, and it's rumored Justice League is next.
It looks as if WB will be announcing what's next for Cavill at this Summer's Comic-Con.
Henry Cavill is also rumored for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, and according to his IMDb, The Great Wall is in pre-production.
Armie Hammer currently has The Lone Ranger coming out July 3rd with Johnny Depp.
