With the Man of Steel only two weeks away, and recently with Geoff Johns stating that a big announcement would be forthcoming at this Summer's Comic-Con, many are looking to the future with what comes next for the DC Comics movies universe.
The Justice League movie seems to be the most talked about, and now Henry Cavill speaks on that subject.
Henry Cavill didn't offer much, only that he would be open to it and at least their have been talks, but denies knowing anything official.
Of course I’m open to it, very much open to it, but I have no idea what plans are for that.I’m not privy to that kind of information. I think it would be a lot of fun to explore the character further and a continuing journey, but I know nothing about those plans so far.
You know what, there’s so much talk about it constantly. Everyone’s talking about if Justice League will happen. None of it has ever been official speak. It’s always been what if, and if we were to do, how would we do it? It’s always just been brainstorming and fun ideas as opposed to genuine thoughts. Certainly when it comes to me, because if there is genuine thought about it, it’s probable behind very locked doors.
Our own DC Entertainment source who has provided us with specific scenes from the Man of Steel as well as details says the Justice League movie is a go, possibly as soon as the beginning of next year.
Man of Steel opens June 14th in IMAX 3D directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Michael Shannon as Zod.
