[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5509:]]The last couple days saw rumors and news surface of Star Wars spin-off movies with Disney confirming they will be character specific movies.
Now we have an update on those movies, and they are said to possibly feature Han Solo, Boba Fett, Jabba The Hutt and Darth Vader.
EW.com has it that Disney is planning on doing a Han Solo stand alone movie and one for Boba Fett.
They note things could change as it's in early stages of development.
As they would be set during the prequels or originals, they could pave the way for the return of not only Jabba The Hutt -- but Darth Vader.
Darth Vader was earlier rumored to return.
It's said that the Han Solo movie will take place between Episode III and Episode IV, would obviously require a new actor and one younger than Star Wars: A New Hope, and focus on the "wisecracking smuggler’s origin story."
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5510:]]The Boba Fett movie is said to be either taking place between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back, or Empire and Return of the Jedi, with the bounty hunter "at the center of a rogue’s gallery of galactic scum."
Disney CEO Bob Iger previously announced that Lawrence Kasdan, writer on Empire and Return, is onboard along with Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes).
The initial rumor about the Star Wars stand alone movies also said that a Yoda movie was planned.
