Guardians of the Galaxy's Nicole Perlman To Write New Labyrinth Movie
A mere 12 days following the death of David Bowie, it's learned another Labyrinth movie is in the works.
Bowie, who recently passed away due to cancer, played the Goblin King in the 1986 movie that also featured Jennifer Connelly.
While THR reports the Labyrinth movie will be a reboot, the writer on the script, Guardians of the Galaxy's Nicole Perlman, took to Twitter to offer it's not a reboot. So it's possible the new Labryrinth project could either be a sequel or spinoff, or even something different.
Perlman wrote the first draft of the Guardians of the Galaxy script for Marvel prior to James Gunn coming on board, and she is co-writing the Captain Marvel movie.
Jim Henson's daughter, Lisa Henson, will be producing the new Labyrinth movie. The original was directed by Jim Henson.
