The information comes from a wrestling news website as Bautista also at times works for the WWE.
According to PWMania.com, Bautista is currently restructuring his contract which will see him get more money as a result of the success of the Guardians of the Galaxy that is said to include a number of other Marvel movies with mention of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and a "significant role" in The Avengers 3.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has a July 28, 2017 release, with The Avengers 3 assumed to be released the following year in 2018.
Director James Gunn has already stated that the Guardians of the Galaxy movie connects to The Avenger 3 as well.
Back in July also saw Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige state the Guardians teaming with the Avengers could be a possibility due to Thanos being a factor.
Thanos was featured in the post-credit scene for The Avengers and made appearances in Guardians of the Galaxy.
It's speculated The Avengers 3 may be in part an adaptation of the Infinity Gauntlet storyline which sees Thanos acquire the Infinite Gems (Infinity Stones in the movies), and the Earth and Marvel Cosmic heroes team up to defeat him.
Drax has also played a big part in the history of Thanos in the Marvel comic books as the character was born (or reborn) to kill the Mad Titan.
It's also a possibility that the Avengers could clash with the Guardians of the Galaxy at some point; Dave Bautista said of his character Drax, that Drax would easily defeat the Hulk.
For fans of the WWE wondering what's next for "Batista," the report states that his Hollywood reps do not want him involved in wrestling due to his treatment prior to the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. It's said Bautista was frustrated that WWE dropped the ball by not using some of his ideas; however, according to the report, Dave Bautista does want another WWE run.
