[[wysiwyg_imageupload:7160:]]We've had a bunch of news lately regarding the Guardians of the Galaxy movie that included perhaps a potential villain of sorts with The Collector and the addition of Ophelia Lovibond.

It's also been said by comic book scribe Jim Starlin that Thanos will be used in the movie as well as The Avengers 2.

It could very well be that Thanos is the big bad guy in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but most likely he will be saved for The Avengers 2 or even Part 3.

So who is the main villain?

Well, we don't know yet, but James Gunn says it will be someone pretty tough.

"Our primary villain is definitely no one's bitch," James Gunn said while replying to a fan on his Facebook.

The movie has also been hinted at to have a future storyline, and Michael Rooker has even been said to be cast as an original Guardians of the Galaxy member (who is from 1000 years in the future in the comics) with Yondu.

Could we perhaps see Avengers villain Kang The Conqueror? Or how about Michael Korvac, who has been associated with The Collector's daughter, the Guardians, as well as the alien race, the Badoon.

The Guardians of the Galaxy movie has an August 1, 2014 release directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill Star-Lord and Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer.
