Our first official teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy may be coming sooner rather than later as an employee for Marvel Comics hints as much.
Ryan Penagos, Executive Editorial Director of Marvel Digital Media, tweeted that he recently saw footage featuring Rocket Raccoon.
"Just watched a Rocket Raccoon thing we're sharing soon and it's just so good I want to throw up rainbows and rip my face off," Penagos offered on Twitter.
With the Guardians of the Galaxy movie set for an August 1, 2014 release, it's possible some sort of teaser may be coming soon. Perhaps it will be attached to Thor 2 or something else all together.
Marvel Cosmic fans did get to see Rocket Raccoon in action at this past Summer's Comic-Con as director James Gunn put together footage after only 12 days of filming, and then the entire cast flew out to London directly after to complete the shoot.
Disney has yanked all the Guardians of the Galaxy footage that leaked online, but check out this animated gif of Rocket Raccon from the teaser (lots more here).
Bradley Cooper was recently named to be voicing Rocket Raccoon for the movie.
The "Guardians of the Galaxy movie" has an August 1, 2014 release directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer and Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Benicio Del Toro as The Collector, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Lee Pace as Ronan, Djimon Hounsu as Korath the Pursuer, with John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey, Glen Close as Nova Prime, and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon.
