Moments ago at the Legendary Entertainment panel at Comic-Con, CEO Thomas Tull was introduced with AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" playing in the background.
Tull then stated he wanted to bring something back to the SDCC for Godzilla following the success it had for the last two years.
A video is then shown of director Gareth Edwards.
Edwards is shown in San Francisco thanking the fans for their Comic-Con reactions.
Edwards then jokes he needs to take a break from franchises and fanboy pressures before returning for the Godzilla sequel (editor's note: Gareth Edwards is directing a new Star Wars movie).
Gareth then goes on to state which monsters will appear in the Godzilla sequel, but each monster name is "bleeped" out.
Tull then showed a teaser for Godzilla that used similar footage from Monarch of the Godzilla opening credits.
The teaser also revealed the following text:
"There is still one secret that remains."
"There are others."
Shadows of the monsters are then shown with:
"Code name: Rodan."
"Code name: Mothra."
"Code name: Ghidorah."
"Monarch assessment: conflict imminent."
"LET THEM FIGHT."
(Editor's note: Edwards previously stated if he could do a Godzilla sequel, he would like it to be Destroy All Monsters).
