George Lucas previously stated he wouldn't watch the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer online, but now he has had a chance to see it at the movies.

Lucas spoke with Page Six while attending a screening of his latest movie, Strange Magic, and was asked about his thoughts on the new Star Wars trailer.

“I saw the trailer. I saw it in a theater because I don’t watch movies online," Lucas said.

“Yeah, it was intriguing," Lucas responded when asked, with a smile.
