A new addition to the cast of Game of Thrones Season 4 has been announced with Roger Ashton-Griffiths playing Mace Tyrell.
Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin announced the news on his blog after first teasing fans.
"Yes, it's the fine British character actor Roger Ashton-Griffiths, who has been cast in the role of Mace Tyrell, son to the Queen of Thorns, and father of Loras and Margaery," Martin posted.
Mace Tyrell has previously been mentioned in the HBO series and first appeared in the second Game of Thrones novel "A Clash of Kings."
