Marvel Editor Stephen Wacker has provided us a first look at a page from the new Venom (#2) series from artist Tony Moore with inks by Danny Miki's CrimeLab.

I sure hope you picked up last week's Amazing Spider-Man 654.1 which featured the new Venom - it was really good!

Flash Thompson, a double leg amputee, has volunteered to bond with the Venom symbiote while working for the U.S. Government in black ops. As Thompson is missing his legs, the Venom symbiote enables the best friend of Spidey the ability to walk again (and more!).

However, Flash can only be bonded to the symbiote for so long - and so many times - before the symbiote becomes permanent. If things do go horribly wrong, the government has the capability to turn "off" the parasitic alien - in actuality a kill switch -- to an unaware Flash Thompson!

Suffice to say, on Flash's first mission things don't go exactly as planned and we see the return of an old friend -- or foe depending how you look at it. No sweat, though, as the ever cool and level headed (right?!) Flash Thompson has things under control.

"Venom #2" goes on sale April 27th; with "Venom #1" hitting March 2nd!
