First Look: Boom! Studios: Hellraiser #1
Boom! Studios will tear your soul apart come March 23rd with the release of Hellraiser #1 from Christopher Monfette - and the legendary Clive Barker.
Boom! CEO Ross Richie provided a sneak peak at a page from artist Leonardo Manco on Facebook, as well as the two covers.
Marvel Cosmic fans will be sure to remember Manco from Realm of Kings with his horrific depictions of the Cancerverse's Revengers. The Argentine artist has also worked on Hellblazer, Hellstorm: Prince of Lies, as well as the recent War Machine series with Greg Pak.
From the look of that one page from Hellraiser, Manco has succeeded in capturing every bit of terror we come to expect from the Clive Barker original movies.
In addition, Hellraiser #1 features a ten page back-up by none other than Larry Wachowski -- of the Matrix Trilogy!
Hellraiser #1 also features covers from Tim Bradstreet, Nick Percival -- and a 1-in-50 variant drawn and signed by Clive Barker himself!
