Fantastic Four Movie Rumored With Little Action & Black Storm Family
Some new rumors have hit the net about possible plot details for the upcoming Josh Trank Fantastic Four movie.
According to Schmoes Know, it's said that Kate Mara's Invisible Woman is adopted into the Storm family, which consists of Michael B. Jordan playing Johnny Storm.
In the comics, Sue and Johnny Storm are brother and sister.
With the casting of Michael B. Jordan as a black actor came a bit of controversy amongst hardcore fans. It's been speculated by many online that some sort of adoption would play into the story, but it was mostly thought that Johnny Storm would be the one getting adopted.
If true, Sue "Storm" is the one adopted by a black family.
The report also goes on to mention that the origin for the Fantastic Four will also be different than its comic book counterpart, as they will acquire their powers through a lab experiment gone wrong. It's said the four acquire their powers as a result of a dimensional gate that leads to another dimension/planet, which gives them their powers.
It's further said that this Fantastic Four film (Fox has already announced a sequel for a July 14, 2017 release) will be character driven and won't be so action-oriented. It's said this film will focus on the Fantastic Four's relationship with one another as well as with Victor Von Doom.
"Fantastic Four" has an August 7, 2015 release directed by Josh Trank starring Miles Teller as Reed Richards, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm, Kate Mara as Sue Storm and Toby Kebbell as Victor von Doom.
