Our DC Entertainment source sent us over a few tidbits about the Batman Vs. Superman movie.
We're told "Batman Vs. Superman" is confirmed as the title (much as we heard last weekend at the football game), and that an official announcement is imminent along with mention filming has started.
The production budget is said to be $250 million.
Secondary casting will start getting underway in the next two weeks.
Screen time wise in regards to the setting, Batman Vs. Superman will feature 60% of Metropolis to 40% of Gotham City.
We're told there is no Fortress of Solitude or Jor-El. There will be plenty of references to events that occurred in Man of Steel, however. The amount of destruction that occurred in Metropolis during the alien invasion plays a role in the film. "Certain" people will be voicing their concerns in the film.
The sequel to "Man of Steel" has a July 17, 2015 release starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
