Two previous reports hinted at Scott Lang for the Ant-Man movie, and now Edgar Wright does as well.
The first report mentioned that the villain of the Ant-Man movie comes from the heroes tech, with the second mentioning a 6-year-old girl.
In the comic books, Scott Lang stole the Ant-Man technology to save his daughter.
Now Edgar Wright has posted an image from the cancelled Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon featuring Scott Lang from the episode "To Steal An Ant-Man."
CBN M.E. Byron Brewer offers a quick recap of the episode:
The adventure finds Hank, who is somewhat disheveled after the event of Ultron and his leaving the Avengers (and maybe Jan?) going to Heroes for Hire (Luke Cage and Danny Rand) after a faux Ant-Man (Lang) begins robbing banks and shrinking treasures here and there. As it turns out, Lang’s daughter, a very young Cassie, is being held by the villainous William Cross.
As noted, the episode also featured Iron Fist and Luke Cage, members of Heroes For Hire, two characters a part of the Disney Marvel Studios Netflix deal.
Included with the image, Wright added, "Homework."
Ant-Man has a July 31, 2015 release.
