Dwayne Johnson In Talks For Big Trouble In Little China Remake
Dwayne Johnson is not only said to be in talks but also will potentially produce the remake of the John Carpenter 1986 cult flick that starred Kurt Russell.
It's reported the Big Trouble In Little China script is being written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, who are known for Thor and X-Men: First Class.
San Andreas currently stands at just over $114 million worldwide and is the best opening ever for Johnson.
The original film saw Kurt Russell play tough-guy truck driver Jack Burton, who gets caught in the middle of a bizarre conflict within San Francisco's Chinatown as an ancient Chinese prince and Chinatown crime lord have kidnapped a beautiful green-eyed woman, the fiancee to Jack's best friend. Jack must help his friend rescue the girl before the evil Lo Pan uses her to break the ancient curse that keeps him a fleshless and immortal spirit.
