Doctor Strange Over $500 Million At Box Office
Congrats goes out to director Scott Derrickson as Doctor Strange has passed the $500 million mark at the box office in 12 days.
Following its $240 million haul for its opening weekend, Doctor Strange has more than doubled the number as Doctor Strange has a current worldwide box office gross of $500,384,158.
"To all who've seen Doctor Strange: words cannot express the profound gratitude I feel for how you've embraced the movie. I'm overwhelmed," director Scott Derrickson posted on Twitter.
Doctor Strange has netted $159,308,268 in the U.S., with an international gross of $341,075,890.
It's currently the thirteenth best performing Marvel Cinematic Universe movie in the U.S. just trailing Captain America: The First Avenger, Ant-Man and Thor, which it will pass in the coming weeks.
Doctor Strange has already passed passed the foreign box office grosses for The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man, Thor, Iron Man 2 and Ant-Man.
Doctor Strange sits at a 90% favorable rating among critics at Rotten Tomatoes, with 91% of audiences reporting they have liked it.
