We already know that Brian Michael Bendis' Guardians of the Galaxy has ditched the "galaxy" for the Earth, and that Jeph Loeb's Sam Alexander will be a kid Nova from some school in Arizona.
Now in his regular column over at CBR, Marvel EIC Axel Alonso says that the new Marvel "Cosmic" will be closer to earth than ever before.
The space between characters like Nova and the Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man and the Avengers is going to be smaller than ever...
Nova. Guardians of the Galaxy. Spider-Man.
There you have it.
Alonso also seems to mix up the fact that Richard Rider and Sam Alexander are totally different characters. And it's not the first time.
We love Richard Rider! All of us were fans of the DnA’s long-running Nova comic and we’re excited to bring you the next stage in Nova’s history.
"Next stage in Nova's history."
Does that mean Rich is coming back?
As I shake my head all I can offer the Cosmic Book News readers is if that you want more Loeb and Bendis pseudo-cosmic by all means purchase the books, but if you wish Marvel would have instead brought DnA's Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy into the fold, go by Hypernaturals or Giffen's new cosmic book at DC, Threshold.
