[[wysiwyg_imageupload:8188:]]There was a batch of video up on YouTube with footage of the recent Man of Steel press conference, but it's been made private for some reason or another.
Well, the footage revealed two interesting tidbits.
The first was what Russell Crowe, who play Jor-El, mentioned about the past Superman movies.
He said that he has never seen any of the Superman movies and was only familiar with the 1950s black and white TV show from when he was younger.
If I recall correctly, Russell Crowe was asked about the past Superman movies having any affect on his performance (actually they all were, I think), with Crowe stating something to the effect that they had none as he hadn't watched them.
Henry Cavill also said something similar in that he didn't let past versions of Superman affect his interpretation of the Man of Steel as well.
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:8189:]]Now for the Diane Lane spoiler, she was asked about Clark Kent coming out as Superman, in which she told a story about her character, Martha Kent, having to go into the Kent House - which was collapsing - grabbing a picture in the process.
Lane then went on to talk about a Tornado.
So she seemed to be insinuating that the Kent House gets destroyed by a Tornado.
At least that is what I picked up from it.
The Man of Steel press junket also revealed another tidbit about the movie, with Zack Snyder letting loose a huge Easter Egg.
Man of Steel opens June 14th in IMAX 3D directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Michael Shannon as Zod.
