[[wysiwyg_imageupload:7011:]]We can add another name to the list of potential directors for the Justice League movie, and this time it's with David Goyer.

Goyer known for writing The Dark Knight and Man of Steel movies is the latest name to be mentioned for the big-budget film featuring the likes of Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and The Flash.

The news comes to us from the editor-in-chief of AMC Movie News, John Campea, who posted the following on his Twitter, with note to consider David Goyer directing Justice League a rumor.

So take this for what it's worth, but a little bird just told me WB is moving on JusticeLeague w Goyer possibly directing.

2 industry guys emailed in last 5 mins. 1 heard same from same source, 1 says Goyer is on but writing only.

But for heaven's sake, take it as a rumor. I'm just conveying what I was told. This isn't a "scoop".

Our own DC Entertainment source provided us with information that David Goyer was being looked at to write the Justice League movie as well.

Jeff Robinov, head of WB movies, recently stated an announcement about the direction they would be going with the DC characters would be announced soon.

David Goyer's directing credits include the new TV series on Starz, Da Vinci's Demons, which was just green lit for a second season after the first episode premiere; Blade Trinity in 2004, and the newly announced adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo.
