[[wysiwyg_imageupload:6560:]]The hottest writer in Hollywood bar none is David Goyer, the writer behind the blockbuster billion dollar Batman movies as well as the upcoming Man of Steel.

Goyer also has the DaVinci's Demons series premiering this month on Starz and is directing an adaptation of the Count of Monte Cristo.

His name has also been mentioned with the Guillermo Del Toro "Dark Universe" film as well as rumored to be wanted for the Justice League movie.

It's also been said that Warner Bros. will do a Batman reboot some time after the Justice League movie as well.

So would David Goyer want to return to Batman?

The Collider asked Goyer that very same question, with the writer not ruling a return to Batman out, and also stating that he hasn't been asked.

Um, I don’t know, honestly.  I worked on Batman for 10 years, so that’s a lot of Batman.  I’m not sure. Yeah, I don’t know.  I don’t really know, I haven’t been asked that yet so we’ll see.

A comic book question was also snuck in, asking if he's been reading anything in particular, with David Goyer mentioning Matt Fraction's Fantastic Four and Matt Kindt’s Mind Management from Dark Horse.

Yeah, I still read stuff.  I like Matt Kindt’s Mind Management, which is a Dark Horse book.  I’m a big fan of [Matt] Fraction’s Fantastic Four.

Speaking of the Batman Reboot, Cosmic Book News was told it may have a 2017 release based on the popular Arkham video games.
