Not too long ago it was "rumored" that Peter Serafinowicz, known for voicing Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace, had a part in the James Gunn-directed Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
Now the actor has confirmed his role in the movie, and it's for a member of the Nova Corps.
Peter Serafinowicz took to his Twitter to announce the news.
"I'm a Nova Corps Officer with John C Reilly," Serafinowicz tweeted.
Peter Serafinowicz also saw the recent Guardians of the Galaxy Comic-Con footage and loved it.
"I just saw the Guardians of the Galaxy Comic Con trailer - wow it looks fantastic! 12-yr-old me can't believe I'm in it," he said.
We previously thought Peter Serafinowicz might be the voice of Rocket Raccoon, which obviously isn't the case, but following Comic-Con James Gunn said they should have the voice actor for the role soon.
The Nova Corps also were shown off at the Marvel Studios booth during Comic-Con, though we are not sure if that is the final version for the movie or just costumes for the Con.
Glenn Close was also confirmed to be playing the role of Nova Prime.
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie has an August 1, 2014 release directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer and Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Benicio Del Toro as The Collector, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Lee Pace as Ronan, Djimon Hounsu as Korath the Pursuer, with John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey and Glen Close as Nova Prime.
Also rumored for the movie are Ophelia Lovibond and Enzo Cilenti.
