This year Warner Bros. is again passing on coughing up millions and millions of dollars for a 30 second spot during the Super Bowl.
At a cost of $4 million, viewers will not be seeing anything new from The Dark Knight Rises, or any other WB movie.
Even though the movie features a scene at Pittsburgh's Heinz field with members of the Steelers -- Hines Ward appears in the second trailer -- the movie studio has opted out.
And who can really blame them, as arguably The Dark Knight Rises -- already being the biggest movie of 2012 -- doesn't need the added promotion, and at such a high cost.
Likewise, Sony will not be having a commercial for the Amazing Spider-Man as none of their upcoming movies will be getting a Superbowl commercial as well.
So what movie trailers will we see?
Disney's John Carter, Paramount's G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Universal's Battleship, and Relativity Media will be heavily promoting their upcoming military action flick Act Of Valor.
It's also possible that Disney may be showing something from The Avengers, as John Carter isn't exactly confirmed.
