Joseph Gordon-Levitt, John Blake, aka Robin, in The Dark Knight Rises recently appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.
The actor was ecstatic when Kimmel mentioned that he was in fact Robin.
"You are the boy wonder," Kimmel says.
A big smile erupts on Gordon-Levitt's face with the crowd reacting in turn.
"Wow," he says. "I'm John Blake, Gotham City Police Detective."
Kimmel then cracks a joke about a bird flying around with his name with JGL responding, "It's pretty awesome, though. Right?!"
Kimmel also asks JGL if there will be another movie as it was set up at the end and they can't leave the franchise hanging.
JGL says it isn't up to him, but as we have heard from other TDKR actors, Joseph Gordon-Levitt points out that it all comes back to Batman Begins.
"I don't think it is a set up. I think it's a great ending for the trilogy. Even if you go back to Batman Begins, he's talking about how Batman is more than a man, its a symbol. And a hero can be anybody, and we all have heroes inside of us. That's a theme that runs throughout the entire trilogy."
