pic The ending for The Dark Knight Rises is said to be so secret that Christopher Nolan hasn't even put it down to paper and has only informed 5 people of the details.

In addition, a Professional Location Sound Recordist - Boom Operator, Fred Roche, has tweeted that the film's conclusion will be shot completely in visual FX.

"#thedarkknightrises technical info: The ending sequence is soo secret that only 5 (Includ Nolan) know it and will be done completely in vfx."

While not listed officially on the credits, Roche did tweet at the end of June about what looks to be a description of the Batwing.

"'The Dark Knight Rises': Inside Info, they are Building 2 Attack Helicopters in the same design as the Bat Mobile from The Dark Knight! BOOM"

For those nervous that "visual effects" means all digital or CGI, as the Latino Review notes, animatronics and models fit into the category, as well.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christan Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Cain as Alfred, Juno Temple and Josh Pence as a young Ra's al Ghul.
