[[wysiwyg_imageupload:7818:]]The CW announced their Fall line-up, and as we heard previously, the Wonder Woman TV series, Amazon, has been passed on, but all hope is not lost.
Amazon is reported to be in redevelopment with a new script being written by Heroes scribe, Aron Eli Coleite (via Deadline).
There were initial reports of casting as well as scenes said to involve ice cream (seriously), but - perhaps thankfully - the CW passed on that version of Amazon.
CW President Mark Pedowitz addressed the matter stating they want to get Wonder Woman right.
"We do not want to produce something that doesn’t work for that character. It is the trickiest of DC characters to get done,” he said.
It's also said that if the CW likes the new script they may add Amazon as an "off-season" addition.
It's quite possible we may learn more at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con as an announcement regarding the fate of the DC Comics superheroes on the big screen is thought to be announced.
In addition, DC Comics Chief Creative Office Geoff Johns said we'll know more about DC at the Con "across the board."
Recently, The Dark Knight Trilogy and Man of Steel writer, David Goyer, also stated he wanted to tackle a Wonder Woman film.
