At the recent Wizard World New Orleans comic-con panel for Captain America: Civil War, Chris Evans was asked by a fan if he could pick any Marvel character to be on his side and have his back, who would it be?
Evans' answer? Of course, the Human Torch!
"I would take Johnny Storm," Evans said. "I would take... I just like the guy. I just like the guy. I think he's fun. It would be fun to fight with him. I think he would be cracking jokes and having a good time. I just want to hang out with him, really."
Joe Russo then interjected, "Frank [Grillo] just looked at Mackie and said, 'Who the hell is Johnny Storm?'"
Evans responded, "The Human Torch," with Mackie heard in the background laughing.
As we all know, prior to playing Captain America, Chris Evans played The Human Torch in the two Fantastic Four movies.
You can watch the mention of the Human Torch by Evans around the 34:00 mark below.
Update: Evans also mentions Wolverine.

After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
