[[wysiwyg_imageupload:7411:]]In a sort of ironic twist, we learn that the Chinese Iron Man 3 cut will feature only four minutes of additional footage with most of it being product placements.

Seems Communist China has become a little more Capitalist, of course unless the companies are owned by the state.

Regardless, we find out details about the exclusive Chinese Iron Man 3 footage as the movie preimiered there a few days ago.

THR has it that the footage features some sort of energy drink advertisement as well as a milk drink.

And the new footage is of famous Chinese actor Wang Xueqi taking a drink as well as operating on Tony Stark with another famous Chinese actress, Fan Binbing, as his nurse who goes unnamed.

Perhaps with Iron Man 3 not getting a "co-production" status with China, Marvel Studios changed its plans, because this is really rather lame.

At least we now don't have to worry about digging up a copy.

Even with the product placements and disappointing exclusive footage, Iron Man 3 has exploded in China, said to have brought in $2 million in its first midnight opening.

Iron Man 3 blasts off May 3rd, 2013 directed by Shane Black and starring Robert DowneyJr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce and James Badge Dale.
