With talk as of late surrounding the departure of Hugh Jackman from the Wolverine role, who could replace him?
Well, Jackman offers his own choice of just who could do the job as the next adamantium-laced berserker with Channing Tatum.
"I don't know who could play him. Channing Tatum could probably play him," Jackman said, reports the Guardian.
Jackman continued with mention that Fox Studios won't discontinue the role.
"They won't retire it, though, I can tell you that right now. One hundred per cent," he said.
Hugh Jackman is set to play Wolverine at least one more time in next month's X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and he is also rumored to reprise for the sequel to The Wolverine which is currently in development.
This isn't the first time we've heard Channing Tatum associated with an X-Men role as it's been said he is being looked at to play the role of Gambit.
