It's being reported that following Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston will play the lead role in Trumbo, which is based on the 1950s screenwriter, Dalton Trumbo.
Deadline has it that production on Trumbo is due to start in 2014, and they state it's Bryan Cranston's first big job following Breaking Bad.
Cosmic Book News has been told Bryan Cranston will be playing Lex Luthor for "Batman Vs. Superman," which has not yet been confirmed (we were told the announcement is coming around the Breaking Bad series finale, which is September 29th). Previous reports stated Batman Vs. Superman was to begin filming February of 2014.
It's possible Bryan Cranston could film Trumbo following Batman Vs. Superman, or production on the Man of Steel sequel will begin later than initially anticipated.
Dalton Trumbo was blacklisted from Hollywood as a result of his refusal to answer questions from the House Un-American Activities Committee, a committee created to investigate alleged Communist ties.
Trumbo moved to Mexico and worked under a pseudonym to get his Hollywood scripts produced.
