Brew's Crew: The other bug king, Catastrophus!

It was after Annihilus met his doom (or so we thought) at the hands of the true Nova Richard Rider -- his Annihilation Wave was defeated and his armies leaderless – that a few other Insect Kings and Queensrose to power. But it was Catastrophus' duty to rule until Annihilus returned, growing in a transparent egg sack.
This is how Catastrophus came into possession of the most powerful item in the Negative Zone, the Cosmic Control Rod! Catastrophus could have benefited greatly by the powers of the rod -- especially on the day he was visited by Talon and Razor of the Fraternity of Raptors -- but instead, he used it to stunt the growth of an infant that would one day mature into the being known as Annihilus.
His desire for power, greater than his need to survive, led Catastrophus to an early demise, and the Cosmic Control Rod was seized by his Raptors and, if memory serves, given by them to King Blastaar.
Even though the demise of Catastrophus seems apparent, this is sci-fi comics. You never know, especially in the Negative Zone!
Since the now-extant Annihilus seemed part of Brian Michael Bendis’ new Galactic Council, could Catastrophus raise his head again in the here and …
We’ll have to wait and see.
