It looks as if Brainiac concept art for Bryan Singer's Superman Returns sequel has surfaced from artist Michael Anthony Jackson.
If Singer was allowed to do another Superman movie, it was reportedly to feature Brainiac.
The story goes that as a result of Superman throwing Lex's Kryptonian island into space, it grew into a moon which caused an alien to take notice.
The alien is said to be Kryptonian with Superman flying up to meet him.
Well, the two have different philosophies in regards to the use of their super powers and Earth. Superman doesn't interfere, but the alien thinks they should, which causes them to butt heads.
Eventually, it's learned the alien is actually Brianiac, and he has been going world to world destroying and remaking them in his image.
Superman fights Brianiac who has the ability to regenerate through clones from his spaceship. Superman finds a way to take down the ship, but not before Brainiac transfers himself into Superman and Lois Lane's child! Well, Superman has to make the ultimate choice and chooses to kill his own son to save the Earth (and you thought killing Zod was bad?!).
Looks like they were going for a Darth Vader/Emperor approach.
Michael Anthony Jackson has also worked on Green Lantern, Iron Man and X-Men: Last Stand.
