I figured sooner or later someone would launch a new comic book related magazine.
Sure, you can get your fill via the CPU, but there is just something about holding it in your hand.
Know what I mean?!
The popular comics and film news, gossip and rumor website, Bleeding Cool, is launching a print magazine this May. The inaugural issue, "#0," will be offered for only $1.49, and comes with 32 pages filled with coverage on this summer's hottest events and news.
The issue will have a feature on the return of Valiant Entertainment to comics, as X-O Manowar is set to blast off this May followed by Harbinger in June, Bloodshot in July and Archer and Armstrong in August. But that's not all you will get as Marvel Comics, DC Comics and more will be featured.
From there, the Bleeding Cool Magazine will see its full-length debut take place in October — with well over 100 pages of coverage.
Bleeding Cool is headed by Rich Johnston, whom I had the pleasure of meeting at last year's NYCC. Johnston is known for his — at times — controversial approach to comic book and film news as well as scoring industry scoops and first looks.
