Baltimore Batman Killed In Car Accident
Lenny Robinson, age 51, known as the “Baltimore Batman,” died after being hit by a car Sunday night.
Robinson, who often dressed up as the Dark Knight to visit sick kids, was driving his custom "Batmobile" Lamborghini when it broke down on Interstate 70 in Maryland.
According to reports, Robinson was coming home from a car show when his Lamborghini experienced engine trouble. Robinson pulled over, but the car was said to be partially in the eastbound passing lane when his Lamborghini was struck by another car, which caused the Lamborghini to slam into Robinson, killing him.
Robinson was pronounced dead on the scene; the other driver was uninjured and no charges have been filed.
Lenny Robinson was first noticed as the "Baltimore Batman" when he was pulled over by police in 2012 for having no plates. The plates were actually inside the vehicle as Robinson used the Bat symbol on the car in their place.
